Business Analyst (Research and Development) – MHJP35
We are seeking a healthcare professional (RN/BN) looking to take their career in an exciting new direction or a skilled business analyst (3+ years) with experience in the healthcare industry. As a Business Analyst working in Momentum’s R&D department, you will be involved in all aspects of software development for our Electronic Health Record application. This includes analyzing business processes and developing detailed software requirements specifications, conducting design/usability reviews, testing, user documentation, deployment and customer support activities.

Qualifications: You are a skilled communicator and possess excellent problem-solving and analytical/critical thinking skills. The knowledge you have received working in/for a clinical environment will greatly contribute to your success in this role as well as your understanding of the business processes within the healthcare industry. Prior knowledge of MDS (Minimum Data Set) Assessment tool, AANAC certification, software development experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are considered to be strong assets for this position.

Business Analyst (Implementation Services) – MHJP42
The Business Analyst is a key facilitator during the implementation and customization of Momentum’s Convergence Platform for our health care clients acting as a bridge between clients and internal teams. The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements as well as providing services and consulting to clients during implementation. You are able to work independently or collaboratively on multiple initiatives to provide superior service to external clients. You are also able to proactively communicate and consult with clients to analyze and document their information needs and functional requirements including quality and acceptance criteria and tolerances while providing clients with opportunities to improve their business processes.

Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years experience in Information Technology with at least 3 years as a Business Analyst; relevant post-secondary degree/diploma with a mastery of a variety of analysis techniques and tools and strong analytical skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; facilitation experience; organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks; health care experience and CBAP certification are assets.

Quality Assurance Specialist – MHJP44
The Software Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for developing and executing test plans according to corporate standards; verifying that Momentum’s Clinical and Billing software requirements are met, ensuring system complies with federal and state/provincial healthcare regulations; documenting and re-testing software defects, producing product stability metrics to help prioritize defects, assisting with help desk activities, conducting functional, integration, interface, load and regression testing, helping manage test lab environment.

Qualifications: University/College degree in a technical discipline or 3+ years experience testing software, QA certification (ISTQB/CSTB), solid understanding of QA processes/ methodologies, experience with following are considered assets: defect/enhancement tracking systems, automating testing tools, test-lab management, MS SQL, HL7, XML, VSS, Red Gate Software. Knowledge of clinical and/or financial systems is a definite asset.
