Prince Albert Parkland Financials sale
June 2004 – The Prince Albert Parkland Regional Health Authority (RHA) has contracted to replace its Ormed windows-based financials system with Momentum’s Microsoft Great Plains® Financials and Materials Management suite. With this sale, Prince Albert Parkland joins six other Saskatchewan RHAs that are already benefiting from this proven suite of products.
In conjunction with this implementation project, Momentum has launched a major development initiative to leverage the $230 million that Microsoft Great Plains invests annually in research and development. This will provide Prince Albert Parkland with a system that is state-of-the-art and that also meets the unique requirements of Saskatchewan RHAs.
Because of our relationship with Microsoft Great Plains, Momentum is able to provide an extremely high-end product suite that is customized to the Canadian healthcare sector and yet is far more affordable than any product built from scratch. Total cost of replacement for this entire state-of-the-art system may be equivalent to five years of existing support and maintenance costs on many legacy solutions.
