Clinical Notes/Transcription
The Clinical Notes/Transcription module is a real-time communication tool that provides the creation and maintenance of any electronic document generated for a client, moving facilities towards a ‘paperless’ environment. Efficiencies are gained and errors are reduced in health record processing by having direct access to client demographic and registration information, copying and pasting standard transcriptions, searching for and viewing client transcriptions on-line, and by taking full advantage of centralized district information. Combined with Order Entry, Radiology, and Chart Tracking, the entire record recording and tracking needs of a single site or regional environment are met.

- Templates can be designed to mirror or replace the paper forms used by the facility
- Forms previously created in a Windows® standard word processor can be converted for use as a template.
- User-created SQL statements populate the transcription

- Word processor functionality is available for use
- Transcriptions can be sent electronically to other users
- Microsoft Word documents can be pasted into a specific transcription and stored in the client’s electronic record
- Direct link to orders/procedures in our Order Entry or Radiology modules
