Resource Scheduling/Workload Measurement
Resource Scheduling allows you to complete complex scheduling tasks across the enterprise. The effort required to schedule patients, caregivers, rooms, and equipment is significantly reduced. Schedules may be created for any combination of resources. You will be able to immediately identify and manage scheduling conflicts. Schedules can be maintained on a real time basis and are easily accessed throughout the organization. You can provide your patients with a complete schedule of all their appointments in advance. Recurring appointments can be scheduled once and automatically duplicated. Your information desk will have instant access to the latest version of any schedule. You will know who is booked for any clinic and when clinics are full. The need to type names, rooms, and equipment is virtually eliminated. Schedules can be changed and resources reassigned with a few clicks. You can view all unscheduled activities for follow-up with clients.
Activities
Display and review the list of activities for any defined resource in the facility. Filter the list by resource type, resource, activity type, or a range of dates. Sort by activity type, date, start or end time, or resource to facilitate the review process.
Daily Activity Record (DAR)
The Daily Activity Record is a time management tool that allows the clinician to record time and workload related to client and non-client activities which have been scheduled to him/her. It can be used to schedule the activity and to record the outcomes in relation to the time spent on activity completion.
View past and future dates with the handy electronic calendar. Color coded entries make it easy to identify the selected activity, booked and free time slots, and scheduled conflicts. Rescheduling activities and conflicts is accomplished with simple mouse clicks.
The total activity time is automatically calculated for each day. Each time slot shows the client list, activity type, default length of time, number of participants, and program. Resource, Activity, and Request tabs provide more detailed information including providers, required resources, and service type. Resources can be added, changed, or removed using the shortcut menus. Recording actual time spent on an activity is as simple as changing the default time in the appropriate time slot.
Workload Measurement System (WMS)
Workload Measurement System automates and streamlines the clerical burden needed to track and summarize staff activity. At the same time it provides a detailed record and summary report of every scheduled service provided to any patient. In conjunction with the reporting tools available with the Momentum Client Information System, workload can be summarized and weighted in nearly any manner. Workload information that might take days or weeks to prepare manually can now be available on-demand. Monitor the caseload of any caregiver or your organization as a whole. Our nurses have bought into it. Regardless of how good a system is, if the nurses don't buy in, it won't work. They see the Momentum system significantly enhancing our quality of care. -Ray Koop, CEO Luther Home, Winnipeg, Manitoba
