Ohio CMI Record Modification
March 2006
The Update
The change outlined in this section is not finalized and therefore subject to change. Ohio is revising the assessments considered when calculating the case mix calculation for Medicaid reimbursement purposes. The planned change will remove PPS coded records from the calculation. No changes are planned for the RUG calculator or CMI set used for T3State. The time frame for this change was not provided.
What Momentum is Doing
This change will not impact the MDS application. The Billing team shall consider this update and its impact on the Billing solution.
