Data Assessment & Verification Project (DAVE2)
The Update
DAVE2 is a continuation of the original DAVE project and is focused on assessing and verifying the accuracy of MDS information submitted by nursing homes. On-site visits are planned to begin in April 2006 and the team is expected to visit approximately 30 facilities per month. What Momentum is Doing
No additional changes are planned for the MDS application related to this project. The MDS application currently supports the creation of Clinical Edit Checks by the facility. Additional edit checks may be defined by organizations to help identify potential problems with coding.
