Pennsylvania transitioning to RUG-III 5.12 34 Grouper on July 1, 2010

The Update
The change outlined in this section is not finalized and is therefore subject to change. The State of Pennsylvania will be transitioning from the RUG-III 5.01 44 Grouper to the RUG-III 5.12b 34 Grouper effective July 1, 2010 as CMS has indicated that a crosswalk from MDS 2.0 to MDS 3.0 will only be available to states using the RUG-III 5.12 version.
What Momentum is Doing?
This change will not impact the MDS application. However, please contact Momentum Healthware’s Support Department to obtain instructions that will guide you in changing the RUG-III version.
