Badges and Tags
All Momentum RTLS badges and tags use infrared (IR) signaling technology to identify the current location of people (i.e., patients, staff, and visitors) and equipment. The safe, invisible, digitized IR signals relay the badge's unique identification code to the system. The Personnel Alert Badge and the Asset Tag also use active radio frequency (RFID) technology, which acts in a supervisory capacity. All badges are water resistant, have a motion sensor which helps preserve battery life and have a low battery indicator.
