The Role:
As a Software Quality Assurance & Support Specialist you are responsible for developing and executing test plans according to corporate standards; verifying that Momentum’s software requirements are met and ensuring that systems comply with federal and provincial healthcare regulations. This includes documenting, prioritizing and testing software defects, producing quality assurance metrics to assess product stability and suitability for release, executing functional, integration, interface, load and regression testing, helping manage internal test lab environment. You will also provide exemplary product support for our customer end-users. This will include responding to and troubleshooting customer support requests, fostering strong customer relationships and maintaining expertise in designated Momentum products.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technical discipline and/or two or more years’ experience as a software quality assurance specialist with a solid understanding of quality assurance methodologies.

- Experience in a customer facing environment, supporting technical or software-based products and/or services.

- Experience with following are considered strong assets:

o Defect/enhancement tracking systems, automating testing tools, test-lab management, Microsoft SQL Server, HL7 and XML, testing clinical systems, testing web based software.

o QA certification/designations from recognized institute such (IIST/ISTQB/CSTB).
